PROGRAM & SERVICES OVERVIEW
Cross Cultural Family Center provides academic and specialty programs for infants/toddlers, preschool, Pre-K and after-school aged children at thirteen (13) different locations throughout the city of San Francisco.
Early childhood programs at CCFC are designed to provide children with opportunities to grow and thrive in every area of their development. Social, emotional, physical and cognitive abilities are promoted.
Young children learn about their world through play. At CCFC we provide environments in which children explore materials, make choices, and develop their imaginations. Through interactions with one another and with their teachers, children receive encouragement, support and mutual understanding. These early experiences foster children’s sense of self, enhance their social and intellectual skills, and build the confidence necessary for later academic learning.
Nutritious meals are provided daily. These include breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Meals are planned specifically for young children, and are designed to encourage children’s interest in health and nutrition.
Support for Parent Involvement and Family Services are essential components of the Cross Cultural Family Center. Parent education, family support and mental health services are available for individuals and groups. Agency-wide family experiences provide opportunities for the CCFC community to enjoy the San Francisco Bay Area together and to become acquainted with family-based resources and events.
